Full Description
Background information:
Following Vicky Phelan’s court case, the significant revelations related to the CervicalCheck screening programme and subsequent ongoing official enquiries and investigations, Stephan Teap and Vicky Phelan (representing a group of the women affected by the controversy) approached the Marie Keating Foundation, the Irish Cancer Society and the Irish Patient Association to establish a structured patient group to support these women and their families.
The primary objective of the 221+ Patient Support Group (PSG) is to meet the needs of those patients directly affected by the CervicalCheck controversy and their next of kin by providing information, advice and support in a structured and confidential manner. The Group acts as a voice for all those affected by the current crisis as well other women diagnosed with cervical cancer in the future and those previously diagnosed but not directly affected by screening issues.
The Role: The 221+ PSG is now looking for a passionate, organised, diligent Membership Administration Assistant. This role requires a pragmatic people person who can take direction well.
