Formal Acknowledgement & Apology to the Women & Families affected by the CervicalCheck Debacle

The 221+ CervicalCheck Patient Support Group would like to invite you plus one guest to attend the sitting of Dáil Éireann on Tuesday October 22nd at 3pm (recommended arrival time 2.30pm to ensure seating on time), at which An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar will give a formal acknowledgement and apology to the women and families affected by the CervicalCheck failures.


There will be limited spaces reserved in the public gallery for 221+ members. A private room will also be made available where members can watch proceedings on a TV screen in private, should they prefer. Unfortunately due to restrictions on space, you are only permitted to bring one accompanying person.

Please note: if there is not enough space in the Public Gallery to fit everyone, priority will be given to women patients and next of kin who wish to sit in this area.

Private Reception

Following on from the Taoiseach’s address, we would like to invite you to the Westbury Hotel for a private reception hosted by the 221+ Group  from 4.30pm. The reception will be open to 221+ members and their guests only, and people will be verified on the door. Light refreshments will be served.
